Our role in the City of Mesa organization is focused on helping supply citizens, developers, city decision makers, and other city staff with the information they need to make good decisions for the land use planning and development of the community and to then carry out those decisions. While much of our staff time is spent in dealing with individual applications, we are always looking at how to best utilize adopted plans, policies, and ordinances and other resources to create and maintain a livable and sustainable community for today and tomorrow.
