Add Comfort and Save Money with Natural Gas
Appliances
Using clean-burning, energy-efficient natural gas appliances in place of electric
can save you money. Natural gas furnaces and water heaters
often provide the
largest energy savings, but gas dryers and ranges will save you additional money. Amenities such as gas fireplaces,
gaslights and gas barbecues provide comfort and convenience.
Choosing Gas Appliances Pays Dividends
If you already have natural gas service to your home, you may need to replace an old
gas appliance
or add a new one. The City's Gas Marketing Department offers rebates for the installation of new gas appliances (Southwest Gas Customers are not
eligible). Call 480-644-3225 or 480-644-3683 for more information about the rebate
program.
To qualify, you must be a City of Mesa gas customer with an
individual meter. Rebate applications must
be submitted within six months from date of appliance purchase. Please
see the eligibility requirements listed on the rebate application.
