What is a Capital Improvement Project?
Capital Improvement Projects are land acquisition, design, and construction
components in a project that have assets of at least $10,000, have a useful life
of at least one year, and are permanent fixtures in the City's infrastructure
inventory system.
How are Capital Improvement Projects funded?
Capital Improvement Program projects and be paid for by revenue funds or bond funds.

- Revenue funds are estimated to be received from various sources,
such as taxes, intergovernmental agreements, and proceeds from City-owned
utility enterprises.
- Bond funds are a written promise to pay a specified sum of money,
called the face value or principal amount, at a specified date or dates in
the future, called the maturity date(s), together with periodic interest at
a specified rate.

Plans for upcoming projects can be purchased
and picked up at 55 N. Center Street, Mesa, AZ, the southeast corner of Center Street
and First Street.
Where do I submit a construction bid package?
Bid packages are accepted at in the lobby of 20 E. Main Street, Mesa, AZ, the
northeast corner of Center Street and Main Street.
