Optical Pre-emption & Emergency Traffic Signal Equipment

Project Description: Most City intersections are installed with optical pre-emption and emergency traffic signal equipment. The traffic signal system is currently 58% equipped with emergency
pre-emption devices. The goal is to have at least 66% of the system outfitted. This
project will install emergency pre-emption devices on the remaining intersections and
new signalized intersection additions helping to ensure safe passage for emergency
vehicles.
