District: All
Location: City-Wide
Project Description: This project will
provide for the replacement of Fire apparatus that
has exceeded useful life based on the Fire
Department standardized plan. Apparatus criteria for
pumpers are 8-10 years or 130,000 miles for front
line and 3-5 years or 20,000 miles (for a total of
150,000 miles) for reserve; ladder trucks 8-10 years
or 130,000 miles for front line and 3-
5 years or 20,000 miles (for a total of 150,000

support equipment 10 years or 100,000 miles and 3-5
years or 30,000 miles (for a total of

for the purchase of 12-Lead Electro
Cardiogram (ECG) monitors. These monitors are the
current standard of care according

Safety and Health Institute
National Guidelines. Having 12-Lead capability will
all paramedics evaluating patients in
emergency situations, to more accurately assess a

attacks, and communicate that condition to the
hospital saving valuable time in life
threatening situations.
