Project Description: Historically the City of Mesa has shared the cost of street
improvements along its border with the Town of Gilbert. Through
an intergovernmental agreement with the Town of Gilbert and
Maricopa County Department of Transportation, this project will
provide six through lanes, a raised median, street lighting and
detached sidewalks, as well as dual left turn lanes, right turn
lanes, and bus pullouts at major intersections.
