Political and Campaign Signs

One sign is permitted per street frontage per lot (if on a corner, one sign is allowed per street frontage).
Signs must be 15 feet from the face of the curb or edge of pavement where no curb or sidewalk exists.
Signs may not be posted on city property. (Sign will be immediately confiscated.)
Signs may not be posted in such a way as to cause a traffic visibility hazard. (Sign will be immediately confiscated.)
Signs may not be posted in public right of way (landscaped area between an arterial street and a residential lot).
Signs must be removed 10 days following the election.

Sign is determined to be in violation of ordinance.
Sign is tagged.
Campaign is notified to correct violation within 24 hours.
If sign is not corrected, it is confiscated and placed in the city sign yard. Signs may be retrieved by appointment.
Each campaign will receive three (3) corrective contacts. Signs found in violation following the 3 contacts will be automatically confiscated.
