Downtown Mesa is considered the hub of
government operations for the City of Mesa and administrative operations
for Mesa Public Schools. In addition, downtown is home to some of Mesa’s major attractions, an Arts and Cultural District, four
nationally registered Historic Districts and excellent convention and conference facilities.
Mesa Community College in conjunction with the
City of Mesa is working to establish a "digital downtown" campus which
will eventually serve over 10,000 students.
A mix of several galleries, studios, various arts organizations and
attractions including the Mesa Arts Center, Arizona Museum for Youth, Mesa Amphitheatre and the Mesa Arts
Southwest Museum contribute to the
creation of a unique and vibrant
core that reflects a diverse community of artists,
arts and cultural organizations, businesses,
venues and events.
Businesses located in Downtown Mesa are strategically positioned to take
advantage of a large workforce that is accessible by the
Superstition (US 60), Price (101) and Red
Mountain (202) freeways.
