Mesa Proving Grounds, Major General Plan
Amendment - GPMajor08-01
DMB is requesting to amend the General Plan land
use designation on Mesa Proving Grounds (3,200
acres) from the existing land use designations of
Community Commercial, Mixed/Use Employment,
Mixed/Use Residential, Medium Density Residential,
Business Park and Office to Mixed Use/Community (MUC).
In addition, DMB is requesting to amend the land use
designation on the Arizona State Land Department
parcel from the existing land use designations of
Community Commercial, Business Park, Office, and
Regional Commercial to Mixed/Use Community. The
