The Mesa Police Department and other nearby agencies have placed the LoJack locators
through the city and in patrol vehicles to assist in recovering a vehicle that has been
stolen and has had the LoJack device installed in the vehicle.
This is an auto theft prevention system that is being offered to consumers in an
attempt to reduce the consumer's insurance rates, and also in avoiding costly damage
repairs in case their vehicle is stolen.
Because the City of Mesa believes in Total Quality Service to the citizens of Mesa, the
Mesa Police Department is participating in this program also.
