Identity Theft
Identity Theft is still a growing problem. Arizona is listed as one of the hot spots for
this crime. The most common ID theft complaint is that someone opened a
credit card account in the victim's name. Thieves also use victim's
information to obtain phone or utility service, money from bank
accounts, loans, jobs and medical services. Remember to check all bills
and bank account statements carefully, and get your credit report once a
year to make sure no unauthorized accounts have been opened in your
name.
