Jury Duty
Another scam that is circulating is when someone calls you and says that
you are required to report for jury duty, or you missed reporting for
jury duty and a warrant has been issued for your arrest. They then
proceed to ask you for personal information to verify your identity. You
will never be approached by telephone for jury duty; you will receive a
letter from the court instead.
Unless you are absolutely sure you know who is calling, no matter who
they tell you they are, do not give out personal information.
