Mesa Police seeking assistance to identify
robbers
The Mesa Police Department is seeking public
assistance to identify two robbers who entered East
Valley Auto Title located at 1017 South Gilbert Road
in Mesa.
On Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at approximately
11:35 a.m., two armed Hispanic males entered the
auto title business and ordered the employees to the
ground. The male suspects demanded title stock,
which consists of forms where auto titles are
printed on. The owner of the business directed the
male suspects to the title stock. The males grabbed
the stock and left out the front business door,
leaving in a dark blue 2001 Chevy Quad Cab truck,
bearing a license plate from Ontario, Canada.
The two suspects are described as follows. Anyone
with information is urged to call the Mesa Police
Department at 480-644-2211 or Silent Witness at
480-WITNESS (480-948-6377).
Suspect #1
A Hispanic male appearing to be between
10-21 years of age, 5 feet 6 inches tall,
160 pounds with short cropped hair. He was
wearing a black T-shirt, baggy jeans and
armed with a black handgun. |

Suspect #2
A Hispanic male, 5 feet 7 inches tall,
weighing approximately 180 pounds with short
dark hair. He was wearing dark baggy pants,
beige/black plaid shirt and armed with a
sledge hammer. The male also had a tattoo on
