Mesa Police K-9 Missing

The Mesa Police Department is missing a black Labrador Retriever canine by the name of Apollo. Apollo was last seen by his handler and detective for Mesa Police around 2:00 a.m. on April 23 at their residence in the area of Chandler Heights and Cooper in Chandler. The detective noticed Apollo missing at around 4:00 a.m.

Apollo has a brown collar, is husky build and very friendly. He is almost four years old and has been with the police department since 2006.

Witnesses from a nearby junior high school stated they saw a dog matching Apollo's description this morning in the area of Chandler Heights and McQueen.

04/24/08 - Apollo was found by a citizen who saw him this morning.
