Terri Teten
Terri began her career in law enforcement with the Mesa Police Department in
1990. She is the Crime Prevention officer for the Superstition patrol district. Terri works closely with
the community and with the Superstition District officers to
help find solutions to both residential and commercial problems. She provides presentations on a wide variety of crime prevention
topics such as
Auto Theft
prevention, Identity Theft and
Computer and Internet Safety. Terri has
incorporated the Operation Identification program into two presentations -- "ID
UR Bike" and "Summer-izing Your Arizona Home," to help the senior communities and
the winter visitors make their Arizona residences more secure.
Terri has a Bachelor's degree in Business Management and is an
Arizona Peace Officer Standards in Training (AZPOST) general instructor.
She is a member of the Arizona Crime Prevention Association (ACPA), a member and
certified as a Crime Prevention Officer through the International Society of
Crime Prevention Practitioners (ISCPP). Terri is
also a certified CPTED (Crime Prevention Through
Environmental Design) Practitioner.
