The goal of this project was to bring professional artists together to enjoy an educational and
creative experience while promoting an international exchange between the Glasgow Print Studio
and the Mesa Arts Center. Acting as teachers and facilitators, two Scottish printmakers, Norman
Mathieson and Will Maw, guided twelve Arizona artists and one
California artist through two day-
long seminars to create a body of original, printed work. Each artist then donated one print each
to the City of Mesa's Public Art Program portable works collection and the City of Glasgow's
public/municipal art collection.
